Distributive Justice Perspective on Internet Governance

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

The objective of the proposed research is to continue to lay the groundwork for a distributive approach to internet governance by applying the distributive perspective to new corners of the internet, fleshing out the distributive approach in areas to which it has already been applied, and exploring policy options for correcting undesirable distributive outcomes. Given the infancy of this approach, this work would be carried out on a narrative and conceptual level consistent with a goal of publishing results in law reviews, law and economics journals that emphasize the conceptual over the technical, or a book aimed at informing policy debates. The hope is that this work will lay the conceptual foundation required for more quantitative work to be carried out later on, particularly work aimed at measuring distributive results in money terms.
