DJJ - Supervision of Social Workers

University of Kentucky College of Social Work Proposed Scope of Work Clinical Supervision of Social Workers within the KY Department of Juvenile Justice The College of Social Work (CoSW) at the University of Kentucky will provide relevant, timely and appropriate clinical supervision to social workers within the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ). The clinical supervision provided will be congruent with Kentucky Administrative Regulation 201 KAR 23:070. Per the above referenced regulation, the UK CoSW will offer clinical supervision from a licensed clinical social worker who will provide supervision pursuant to KRS 335.080(3) and KRS 335.100(3). Further, the supervisor will meet all regulatory requirements as delineated in section 4 of 201 KAR 23:070 and will provide all supervision requirements as required by section 8 of the afore-referenced statute.
