Description

A sub-contract with Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) will be established. Dr. John McCarthy will serve as the principal investigator of the sub-contract with Dr. Esther Dupont-Versteegden as co-investigator. Drs. McCarthy and Dupont-Versteegden will be responsible for experiments using the HSA-GFP mouse to assess muscle tissue sections using (immuno) histochemistry for measurements of myonuclear number, positional labeling and ploidy. In addition, Dr. McCarthy will be available for consultation on mouse breeding and FACS analysis.
