ABSTRACT:
ECC Week is an intensive, community-based Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)
program implemented by the Kentucky DeafBlind Project for transition-age students who are
DeafBlind. The program provides structured work-based learning experiences, workplace
readiness training, independent living skill development, and self-advocacy instruction within
authentic community settings. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and individualized
supports, participants build skills necessary for competitive integrated employment and
successful postsecondary transition.
