Description

The purpose of this project is to evaluate the effect of diet on horses with Cushing's Disease. Three groups of horses will be compared, two groups will consist of aged horses exhibiting signs of Cushing's Disease and one group will consist of younger horses that do not exhibit signs of Cushing's Disease. The young normal horses and one group of horses with Cushing's Disease will receive grass hay and a standard concentrate feed. The other group of horses with Cushing's Disease will receive grass hay and a concentrate feed formulated specifically for horses with Cushing's Disease.
