Description

This narrative summarizes the research and needed support to evaluate the success of elk restoration and the status of natural black bear colonization in Kentucky. The work is, in part, a continuation of projects started in 1997 (elk), and 2002 (bear). Thus far, the work has produced 4 M.S. theses and 2 Ph.D. dissertations. Currently, 4 projects are in progress.
