Grants and Contracts Details
Description
Type 2 funding support.
Goal 1: Determine if there are differential effects of microteaching and VR simulations on the effectiveness (e.g., more rapid gains) in mastering three specific HLPs (i.e., explicit instruction, feedback, engagement).
Goal 2: Establish research base as groundwork for future funding opportunities and collaborations across institutions.
Results: The project was a pilot project that led to related external funding in 2021-2022. The culmination was the development of the UK SimLab in 2023 through external funding which supports collaboration across institutions in Kentucky.
