U01DK127388 (MPI: Papachristou/Hart/Conwell) Epidemiology and pathophysiology of acute pancreatitis-related diabetes mellitus Current period end date: 07/31/2022; Award end date: 07/31/2025 Scope Of Work for Subaward to Dr. Conwell, Univ of Kentucky Drs. Georgios Papachristou, Phil Hart, and Darwin Conwell serve as MPIs for this project. Per the MPI plan: Dr. Darwin Conwell will continue to be involved in the execution of the project at The Ohio State University Clinical Center. In the event that neither Dr. Papachristou nor Dr. Hart is unable to fulfill their obligation, Dr. Conwell will represent the OSU-CC at NIH consortia meetings and teleconference calls. Dr. Conwell will continue to provide leadership to the Recruitment and Retention as well as Biospecimen Committees, including participation in the monthly conference calls and other related working meetings (e.g., serving as Biospecimen Committee representative for the Monitoring Committee). Dr. Conwell will continue to provide scientific input into the project as previously planned, including aspects of study design, data analyses, and participation in the monthly Pancreatitis Working Group calls. He will also be available for participation in the monthly OSU-CC team conference calls to provide ongoing collaborative feedback, into both primary (e.g., DREAM study) and ancillary (e.g., MOSAIC) studies.
