Abstract: The purpose of this study will be to examine the current status of equity in Kentucky secondary arts education through the lens of access, uptake, and outcomes of arts courses in Kentucky public schools. I will analyze data from Kentucky''s Longitudinal Data System, KYStats, to examine factors associated with school-level access to arts courses, student enrollment in arts courses, and compare postsecondary enrollment outcomes between arts and non-arts students.
