Scope of Work “Evaluation of a persuasive health communication intervention designed to increase HIV/HCV screening among emergency department patients who currently, formerly or never injected drugs” This subcontract is being submitted to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai by Nancy Harrington, PhD, Professor of Communication, University of Kentucky. University of Kentucky will: • Provide expertise to the project on the adaptation of the persuasive health communication intervention for people who either currently inject or formerly injected drugs • Assist in the preparation of materials for the randomized, controlled trial • Advise on matters relating to the progress of the data collection and study execution • Assist in the analyses of the research findings and in the subsequent preparation of manuscripts and presentations of the research findings
