Objectives 2018-2019: 1. Laboratory refining of the blend based on two esters, isobutyl acetate (IBA) and isoamyl acetate (IAA) identified from our laboratory (Scheidler et al. 2015) as attractant for the fly. The binary blend will be tested on its own and in combination with, ß- cyclocitral and potential pheromones. 2. Formulation of the most attractive bait developed in the laboratory and field testing
