Grants and Contracts Details

Description

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of services delivered by the Pennyroyal Family Healthcare Clinic for individuals receiving their services by comparing such individuals’ outcomes over the length of their participation in such services with baseline data collected at the time of entry into services and follow-ups every 6 months. Using a pre/post research design, the researchers will conduct baseline and six month follow-up interviews, until the time of their discharge from services at the Pennyroyal Family Healthcare Clinic. We will also use information from the electronic medical record to determine changes in physical measures like body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose, etc. A total of 600 adult clients are expected to participate over the 4 years of the grant. Some of the data may be used in a cross-site study.
