Description
The Kentucky Youth Treatment (KYT) initiative will expand access to developmentally
appropriate, evidence-based assessment, treatment, and recovery support services for
adolescents and transition-age youth (ages 12-25) that have substance use disorders and/or cooccurring
substance use and mental health disorders and their families/primary caregivers.
More specifically, Kentucky proposes to expend funds for infrastructure improvement and
direct treatment to improve access to high quality services that will improve outcomes. The
evaluation will include formative evaluation which will provide data for program improvement
as well as a summative evaluation that examines the impact of the program on client outcomes.
