Grants and Contracts Details
Description
Dr. Carl Bradley’s extension and research program at the University of Kentucky will conduct a SCN awareness campaign that will include key messages of SCN resistance management. Specific actions will include sampling soybean fields in Kentucky to determine what levels of SCN are present in the state, and to conduct HG Type tests on samples from select fields to determine how SCN populations have changed in Kentucky. Dr. Bradley will also work closely with Extension Agents and other Extension personnel at the University of Kentucky in preparing a unified message on how soybean growers should be more aware of SCN and the steps they can take to help manage SCN in their own fields.
