Exploring the Postdoctoral Training Environment

Abstract: The “Exploring the Postdoctoral Training Environment” project will involve completing the research activities previously funded by the National Science Foundation through the Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate program (award #1821008). This award was terminated on April 25, 2025. This project entails analyzing interview data gathered from the AGEP Engineering Alliance postdoctoral participants and postdoctoral affairs office directors, as well as new interview data collection and analysis from postdoctoral advisors to triangulate previous findings and deepen understanding of the STEM postdoctoral training environment.
