Fellowship Vipul Mankad: Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy

Overall Goals: As stated in previous sections, health related policies fonnulated in federal and state governments greatly influence the quality of life of people in the United States. Therefore, academic physician leaders should be involved in development of health policies. At this stage in my career, a major focus on health policy would be a logical step. During the next phase of my career, I wish to learn more about the health and biomedical research policy process, and contribute my expertise to help my institution and the society to interface with policy makers more effectively.
