Fellowship/Zhu: Proteomic Analysis of the TGF-Beta Signaling in Human Prostate Cancer Cells

Grants and Contracts Details

Aim 1: To identify uniquelyl differentially expressed cell surface proteins in prostate epithelial cells, to investigate their role in cell adhesion/detachment and resistance to the detachment-induced apoptosis (anoikis). Aim 2: To identify novel targets ofthe TGF-B signal mechanism in human prostate cancer cells by either initiating or silencing the TGF-B signaling.
