FHWA/LTAP Safety Circuit Rider

The safety circuit rider position will focus on technical support, training and other activities that will reduce fatalities and injuries on locally managed roads and streets. The safety circuit rider will specifically address the FHW A Office of Safety Goals of: (I) crashes involving roadway departure, (2) reduction of fatal crashes at intersections, and (3) reduction of pedestrian fatalities. Each of the work items will include information that can help meet the goals outlined above.
