Grants and Contracts per year
Grants and Contracts Details
Description
We propose to develop and implement an online training course for public safety and public health personnel who are working
(or who plan to work) in the area of fire prevention. This course is intended to meet a need for more fire prevention training
for Kentucky personnel, but will be sufficiently non-specific to allow it to be used by personnel from other states and territories
as well. The course will be more than simply a text document or PowerPoint presentation on a web site; it will include
multimedia and interactive elements designed to promote active learning. Course completion certificates and, where
possible, continuing education credit will be provided.
