Description
This training proposal involves the delivery of information about the potential for using woody biomass
as an energy source for residential and business use in Kentucky. Program materials will be derived from
the Wood to Energy Biomass Ambassador Guide developed by Martha Monroe et aI. of the University of
Florida (funded by the USDA Forest Service) and will also incorporate information from the Sustainable
Forestry for Bioenergy and Bio-based Training Curriculum, developed by the Southern Forest Research
Partnership.
