Forest Stewardship Public Awareness, Publicity and Training

The Department of Forestry will provide technical training to natural resource professionals involved in delivery of the Forest Stewardship Program under the banner of the Professional Forestry Workshop Series. This will include specific workshops for the Kentucky Division of Forestry in hardwood silviculture and related topics. Forest stewardship demonstration areas in the state will be developed when and where appropriate. Stewardship brochures, pamphlets, and other associated materials will be produced and disseminated, include Stewardship Binders, Stewardship brochures and Forest Water Quality Plan documents.
