Description

1. Provide mosquito surveillance/sampling activities at four (4) geographical locations around the state. Sites shall be sampled at the beginning of the mosquito season starting on or around June with sampling continuing throughout the vector season approximately during mid-July and late August, tor a maximum of 12 sampling events. Sampling shall be conducted in the general areas of: the Kentucky Bend area. Fulton, Paducah, etc.: Corbin/South Central Tennessee Line area; Covington area: and Ashland/North East border of the state. The exact locations and frequency of each sampling location shall be determined by the vendor based on the sampling results. 2. Conduct diagnostic testing on pools of mosquitoes as indicated by the sampling conditions, species of mosquito, and other factors found at the site during sampling that would indicate a need for arboviral testing.
