FY-17-18 KCP East UK - FY17 KCP East Colon Cancer (Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program Education and Outreach)

The University of Kentucky, Kentucky Cancer Program East through their existing infrastructure of Regional Cancer Control Specialists will provide tailored small media messaging on Colon cancer Screening for participating Federally Qualified Health Center systems, promote colon cancer screening among the targeted population, participate in implementation plan and development at participating health systems. The University of Kentucky will also provide support and subject matter experts to develop evaluation and health systems plans which meet the criteria of the goals and objectives of two grants from the Centers for Disease Control, “Organized Approaches to Colon Cancer” and “State Public Health Actions Quad,” in collaboration with chronic disease programs. This will include coordination of efforts among partners, developing evaluation plans and preparing reports to the CDC.
