FY 20 UK Rural Health Journal

The KY State Office of Rural Health shall: 1. Patner with all safety net partners, including but not limited to the Primary Care Association Area Health Education Centers, Primary Care Office, and the KY Rural Health Association, to produce a rural health journal, "The Bridge". This journal will have release issues by the following dates: July 28, 2018, October 31, 2018, January 30, 2019, October 31, 2019, and January 31, 2020. Distribution will be done digitally via email, as a web-site and as a printed magazine-style journal. 2. Produce the rural health journal that shall contain newsworthy stories and information relevant to rural health matter in KY and Nationally. 3. The SORH, in partnership with the safety net partners, will continue to investigate alternative routes to make the rural health journal financially self-sustaining. 4. Coordinate a meeting between safety net partners to conduct an annual strategic planning session. This planning session will result in a stronger, better quality publication. 5. All rural health journal publications shall include a notice that this item was partially paid for through federal HRSA Primary Care Office grant funds.
