NAHLN Supplemental Funding
A. Object ives
•Continue to meet all responsibilities of a NAHLN laboratory as outlined in the
2021Agreement for Participation in the National Animal Health Laboratory Network {NAHLN}.
•Continue to Increase NAHLN capabilities and capacity in addressing an adverse animal
health event such as may occur with an emerging disease detect ion or foreign animal disease
outbreak .
•Mitigate the impacts to the laboratory and the NAHLN mission caused by SARS-CoV-2.
These objectives will be supported with a base amount of infrastructure funding with no
expectation that this funding will recur in future years.
