FY 21 Private Applicator Training Program

The University of Kentucky will train and issue certification cards for private pesticide applicators in Kentucky to comply with EPA and Kentucky Department of Agriculture standards and regulations. An electronic database will be maintained of certified private applicators and made available upon request to the KY Department of Agriculture. Materials for training applicators including certification cards, which are issued through county extension offices, and manuals will be distributed through the Department of Entomology and distributed to counties. A website of training materials (videos, powerpoints), and procedures for trainers will be maintained.
