Abstract CCLD-KRP4RTA2023 CCLD-KRP4RTA is a grant-funded project, now in its 6th year. Funds from the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) are paid to the Collaborative Center for Literacy Development (CCLD) at UK to oversee and manage teacher professional development for improved reading instruction K-3 as part of the Read To Achieve school grant program administered by KDE. Teachers go through a two week summer intensive workshop, then implement their learning action plans in their classrooms, are visited and observed by faculty and facilitators, get feed- back from peers, and present the results of their efforts in April (2023 in this case) at the CCLD Share Fair.
