Description

The university will be supporting one professor (Lu Young) to attend "the Coach Approach" training at one of the cooperative trainings (Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative), which is an opportunity to connect Educator Preparation Program (EPP) with our P3 principals and districts in an effort to develop mentors and coaches for clinical placements for teacher and administrator interns. The MOA will pay the registration fee and support materials, travel and lodging expenses and some indirect costs. Travel for the participant is limited to one overnight lodging per two-day training for persons between 70-100 miles away and two nights for those persons more than 100 miles away, meals, and mileage according to KDE travel guidelines. The professor will attend all eight days of training, participate in monthly webinars with OELE, provide information to the University Principal Preparation Initiative (UPPI) stakeholders group, and share information at the EPP with faculty working with clinical experiences. Goals and Deliverables 1. A professor (Lu Young) is to attend all 8 days of Coach Training and actively participate. 2. Participate in monthly webinars on Coach Approach. 3. Share information at EPP with other clinical educators. 4. Share information with UPPI stakeholders. .
