1. Outreach and Recruitment a. Continue to support statewide Medicaid provider recruitment including hosting events and conferences. b. Disseminate materials (consistent with Kentucky Health Information Exchange materials) for educational purposes to support ongoing participation in the Kentucky Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. 2. Outreach to previous and existing attesters to determine if they have eligibility and willingness to participate in the Kentucky Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. a. continue robust marketing campaign explaining benefits of participating in Kentucky Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. 3. Gap Analyses, Action Planning, and Group Education Services a. Provide support services to MPPs for participation in the Kentucky Medicaid EHR Incentive Program under the following guidelines: i. Assist MPPs who are registered with the Kentucky Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. ii. Recruit and assist non-returning MPPs who are eligible for participation in the Kentucky Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. b. Schedule and conduct technical assistance via telenetwork/web conferencing or on-site with each MPP throughout the attestation process to perform gap analyses. c. Perform gap analysis activities under the following guidelines: i. Document Medicaid provider volume, by providing education, and reviewing volume metrics before attestation submission. ii. Document MU metrics. iii. Serve as liaison between MPPs and the venders of Certified EHR Technology to ensure effective communication regarding and understanding of MU Metrics. iv. Evaluate issues identified as preventing successful submission of the attestation. v. Provide a report during gap analysis and discuss with the MPP the gaps identified before the attestation is submitted to the Commonwealth to request payment from the Kentucky Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. Provide workflow remediation to mitigate issues necessary to successfully submit an attestation. 3. Attestation Support Services Provide attestation support services for clinicians and staff via telenetwork/web conferencing or on-site based upon results of gap analysis and CMS updates, modifications, and clarifications. 4. Audit Support Services a. Provide audit support services for clinicians and staff via telenetwork/web conferencing or on-site based upon clinician receipt of notification of audit. i.Provide recommendations on the supporting documentation to be sent in response to the audit. ii. Assist with the collection of the documentation for the audit. iii. Assist with the review of documentation to be provided for audit purposes. iv. Assist with the submission of the audit documentation, making sure the clinician meets the required audit submission deadline
