FY22 STLP Showcase-University of Kentucky

Scope of Services: University partners host regional Student Technology Leadership Program events on behalf of the Kentucky Department of Education. These regional events bring together local school district STLP groups to present technology rich projects with aspirations of being invited back to present at the STLP State event in April. The universities provide all logistics, space, set up, and materials needed for students to present their projects. Goals and Deliverables K-12 students affiliated with STLP will access higher education campuses and have opportunities to connect with higher ed personnel. Creating these opportunities to experience a college campus may provide future incentive to pursue college coursework. Universities provide access to collaboration and presentation spaces, allowing for STLP students to present projects and participate in interviews in hopes of advancing to the STLP State competition.
