FY22 UK PEDS Well Child Funding

Abstract July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021 UKRF shall provide these services to CHFS’s satisfaction: 1. Provide continuing well child/pediatric assessment education annually. The spring conference shall consist of an all-day didactic training and provide continuing education units for the nurses. A webcast of this training shall be included. Didactic training are seminars/lectures from an instructor that builds upon the skills or knowledge the recipient will use in their professional practice. This training shall address nursing theory in relationship to well child assessments, school nursing and promote nursing assessment skills and critical thinking. 2. Provide an agenda prior to the training as well as a registration list to the Well Child Coordinator immediately after the educational class.
