UK CTAC will provide five, 2 day train the trainer events to create DCBS capacity to deliver the Caring for Children Who Have Experienced Trauma: Resource Parent Workshop curriculum across the Commonwealth. Regional sites will be determined by DCBS using a strategy of targeting foster parent champions, and staff trainers who will make up previous training cohorts. UK trainers will be responsible for preparation and delivery of content, preparing and distributing training materials, evaluation of the trainee proficiency in the content and consultation to trainees throughout the year. UK will also hold a consultation session with co-facilitators and DCBS to enhance implementation. The principal investigator will be Ginny Sprang, Ph.D., and the training team will consist of Masters and Ph.D. level trainers with expertise in this curriculum.
