Critical Incident Review Supports
The University of Kentucky - College of Social Work (UK CoSW) will contract with Collaborative Safety,
LLC to provide technical assistance and conduct trainings and labs for the Kentucky Department for
Community Based Services’ (DCBS) Systemic Critical Incident Review System. Collaborative Safety LLC
will meet the needs of DCBS by supporting a culture of safety, resiliency, and trauma informed practice.
The Collaborative Safety model is founded in safety science, resilience engineering, forensic interviewing
and is encased in a traumainformed lens. All trainings, institutes and labs are designed to enhance
organizational function with respect to a safe culture, staff resiliency, and improved outcomes for
children and families.
