Description

Abstract The purpose of this contract is for the University of Kentucky Research Foundation (UKRF) to serve as a Regional Perinatal Center offering provision of comprehensive perinatal health care services at or above those of subspecialty care facilities. This contract will assure the diagnosis and reporting of infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS), case management and follow-up of these infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Outreach Follow-Up clinics, implementation of the Plan of Safe Care, and maintaining a database for the follow-up of these infants and reporting to DPH as listed in the contract.
