Project Summary/Abstract for Routing 1.00 Purpose and Background The University of Kentucky (UK), Markey Cancer Center is recognized as one of the top 50 cancer centers in the nation and is Kentucky''s only National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated cancer center. The QUILS™ System (Quality Implementation of Lung Cancer Screening) is an innovative approach developed by UK, Markey Cancer Center to enhance cancer care by focusing on improving patients'' quality of life during cancer treatment and survivorship. The purpose of this contract is for QUILS™ Group to provide service to the Kentucky Lung Cancer Screening Program (KLCSP) by using data to monitor, inform, and promote best practices in lung cancer screening and educate healthcare professionals, payers, and systems to promote best practice lung cancer screening.
