Grants and Contracts Details
Description
The Kentucky Center for Smoke-free Policy (KCSP) is requesting conference support for our annual Spring conference March 24, 2011 at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington, Kentucky entitled: Goingfor the Goal: Comprehensive Smoke-free Policy. The educational, nonpartisan conference attracts health advocates and policymakers from communities interested in smoke-free policy. KCSP provides rural and urban communities across Kentucky with science-based strategies for advancing smoke-free policies and educating citizens and policymakers about the importance of smoke-free environments. KCSP has been in existence since 2005, and has assisted most of the 30 smoke-free communities in Kentucky with smoke-free laws or regulations to build capacity, build demand, and translate and disseminate science at the local level.
