Description
Abstract
This contract is to provide the Department of Aging and Independence Living (DAIL) within the
Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) technical assistance to create and maintain a
web-based application and database. The website portal is designed and utilized for
implementation and administration of the new Guardianship Unclaimed Funds Registry (GUFR)
pursuant to 910 KAR 2060. The web portal allows users to search and submit a claim for
unclaimed funds, as well as, allowing DAIL to track and export raw data for review and analysis.
The web portal resides in a HIPAA compliant data center in the Institute for Biomedical Informatics
to ensure the security of the data.
