High Energy Physics Tools for Precision Neutrino Interactions

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Better understanding of neutrino interactions is critical for the DOE HEP mission. The major research thrusts of the proposal involve the computation of radiative corrections in neutrino processes, the phenomenological analysis of neutrino scattering and oscillation data, and the implementation of new theoretical tools in event generators used by experiments. The proposal also develops a novel approach to computing dark matter direct detection signatures, and determines the capabilities of experiments with muon beams for new physics searches and precision measurements.
