Horses and Hope

The National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program allows funding for the Department for Public Health's goal of Kenucky Women's Cancer Screening Program to promote outreach to increase breast and cervical screenings among the target populations of women in the eastern part of Kentucky. UK KY Cancer Program shall provide services for one Project Director and three Cancer Control Specialists. Regional coordinators shall provide coordination and approval of proposals and monitoring of funds in collaboration with Kentucky Women's Cancer Screening Program (KWCSP) staff for three demonstration projects to recruit disparate Populations in selected counties.
