Description

The purpose of this Research Joint Venture Agreement is to gain an understanding of riparian forest restoration. The proposed research will assess specific strategies to speed establishment of native riparian vegetation, and will evaluate nutrient dynamics and storage within existing riparian corridors in a study site located in central Kentucky. This collaborative research work effort will be accomplished in accordance with the study plan entitled "Hyporheic Zone Development and Water Quality Improvement in a Restored Riparian Area". Specific project objectives are to determine:
