Description

SCOPE OF WORK: Professor Changyou Wang was selected by the IMA Directors and selection committee to participate as an NSF New Directions Visiting Professor at the Institute for Mathematics & its Applications at the University of Minnesota. He will spend approximately 9.5 months during the period September 1, 2009- June 15, 2010 at the IMA. The IMA 2009- 2010 program is "Complex Fluids and Complex Flows". Changyou has been selected so he can learn more about this area of mathematical research. He will interact and collaborate on mathematical research with the IMA postdocs, workshop participants and other long-term visitors in residence during his stay. He will attend and participate in IMA workshops and seminars and focus groups.
