Improve Career & Technical Education Pre-Service Teacher Education Programs-Business Education

The intent of this proposal is to offer pre-service business education teachers professional development activities that focus on effective teaching that is scientifically research based. That professional development will include knowledge and skills needed by business and industry, academics that must be integrated into business content, identifying and using technology as a teaching tool, accountability requirements of teachers, and performance indicators to evaluate their programs, and enabling student teachers who meet the educational of needs of business teachers enrolled in our program. This professional development will continue throught the one calendar year program in our Master's of Arts in Teaching format.
