.OBJECTIVES: I) Review surrounding state and relevant national longitudinal joint construction techniques and related specification s. 2) Review and conduct field trials of new techniques for longitudinal joint construction, including joint reheating, improved rolling patterns, and other basic construction techniques. 3) Monitor joint performance assoc iated with the implemented changes in gyration levels. 4) Monitor initial joint performance and develop construction guidelines and appropriate specifications
