ABSTRACT – Improving System of Care (SOC) to Serve Children and Youth with Co-Occurring Disorders In collaboration with Kentucky Department of Developmental Disabilities and Behavioral Health, Kentucky Partnerships for Families and Children, the Human Development will provide assistance in the enhanced integration of services and supports for children ages 3 to 11 who have co-occurring intellectual/developmental disabilities and severe emotional disabilities (SED) and their families. As a part of the grant, HDI will assist in a needs assessment to determine the numbers of children with co-occurring disorders, organize regional forums to conduct local readiness assessment and identify gaps and barriers, and assist in the delivery of coaching and technical assistance
