    Application for 2022-2023 Kentucky Pride Fund Recycling Grant Abstract: Increasing Recycling Capacity at the University of Kentucky The proposed project purpose is to continue improving on the existing recycling and waste reduction program at the University of Kentucky. It includes acquiring a 15cy compactor to be placed at a residential hall (Jewell Hall) with 750 residents to increase capacity, convenience, and participation in recycling. The project also includes acquiring and placing 2 Oscar sorting systems that identify items that are been disposed of, and it gives instructions on what to do with it. This is an artificial intelligence system that will provide rewards and corrections at disposal bins, The system will be used to increase participation and engagement.
