Description

The overall objective of this integrated project is to identify genomic markers to detect genetic influences on Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) and to incorporate these markers into selection practices of beef and dairy producers. The overall Extension effort is to educate producers on incorporating genomic marker information into their selection program in general, and specific how to utilize the information coming from the research component of the project. This subcontract is for the specific purpose of developing and maintaining a website for disseminating information to both educators and producers.
