This is a continuation of a currently funded So. Region IPM Grant. Currently in its 2nd year, the overall goal os thisproject is to increase the number of TN and KY producers utilizing stored grain IPM stratregies such as SLAM to prevent or minimize grain quality losses from insects in their on-farm storage systems. Although strategy on their farm, a recent survey that represnets procuders in TN and KY with over 4.6 million bushels of storage capacity revealsed that many producers have not fully integrated the SLAM concept as part of their management strategy to maintain the qualityof their grain.
