Internet Adaptation of Dental Accreditation Materials

In an effort to enhance accreditation site-visitor preparation, the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CD A) has developed a web-based training and assessment program. The web format contains generic information required of all site visitors and uses primarily low memory graphics (VGA level), illustrations and limited interactivity. Maintenance of the current site is necessary to ensure accuracy, timely updates and accountability of performance. Enhancements to the site are desirable in order to increase user acceptability, friendliness, and learning. CDA believes that maintenance of the current site is essential and that enhancements and expansion of the web-based training program will improve site visitor performance and usefulness of the site for new site visitors.
