Grants and Contracts Details
Description
The overall goal is to introduce new herbicide technologies as well as maintain long-term effectiveness of current herbicide technologies to mitigate and slow the spread of herbicide-resistant weeds including Palmer amaranth and marestail (horseweed) in Kentucky. The proposed research and education program will help enable growers, applicators, and crop consultants to be better informed for making decisions on herbicide-resistant weeds and the herbicide technologies which are available to combat these weed problems.
