Grants and Contracts Details

Description

This is the first applied research on Asian earthworms as pests of golf courses since “green stinkworms” laid waste to courses in the Eastern states during the 1940s. Invasive green stinkworms are back and this time there is no chlordane to eliminate them. Our recent work, documenting earthworm communities and casting on fairways, and established contacts with earthworm experts, positions us to tackle the problem of Asian earthworms in sand greens.
